Rose Garden Apartments
Rose Garden Apartments, will eventually be the largest apartment complex in New Zealand with over 800 apartments.
The project’s first stage was designed by Context Architects and delivered by CMP Constructions who engaged Designer Stainless to supply and install the glass balustrading on the project. The design was created to give a feeling of light and space, all achieved with the use of TemperShield® bent and flat toughened (tempered) glass balustrades and expansive window areas. Central to this design was creating great places to live, apartments have a zig zag frontage that give great views of the adjacent lake, central green spaces and bush clad ridges to the north. Curved balustrades enhance the indoor outdoor flow by creating a seamless uninterrupted view of surrounding area while the application of our VisionInk® – Ceramic Ink to the glass ensured that there was a degree of privacy where it was called for.
Designer Stainless engaged Glasshape® to supply the balustrading glass because of our ability to supply bent toughened (tempered) glass as well as print on glass. We would like to congratulate them on the completion of stage one and look forward to working with them on the next stages.
