How can ARClipse help with procurement and construction?

ARClipse helps procurement and construction by reducing uncertainty before glass production begins.

Through early consultation, preliminary modelling and site scans, ARClipse gives teams clearer design information, verified site conditions and more confidence around what needs to be ordered, fabricated and installed. This helps procurement teams avoid assumptions, reduce variation risk and make more informed decisions around glass, base shoe and hardware requirements.

For construction teams, ARClipse supports a smoother installation process by checking the site at key stages. The first scan captures as-built conditions, while the second scan verifies base shoe installation accuracy before the glass is manufactured. This helps identify issues earlier, reduce rework, improve coordination between trades and ensure the final glass package is produced to suit the actual site conditions.

Feasibility Checks

Before anything is manufactured, our engineers turn an early sketch, a set of key dimensions, or an existing architectural drawing into a fully realized, dimensionally accurate 3D model. The model is used then to confirm bend radius, base shoe compatibility, gradient/ergonomics, thickness, panel geometry and building codes against real manufacturing constraints.

A validated model your team can review, walk through, and sign off on before a single piece of glass is cut.

Coordination Guidance

Technical information (i.e. 3D CAD files) for complemenntary elements (handrail, top cap and related hardware) so you or your preferred supplier can source and install them with confidence. This is the work that otherwise falls to a fabricator's own design tam, or gets skipped and discovered as a problem later on site.

Physical Supply

Once the design is validated, Glasshape manufactures the custom curved glass panels and the curved base shoe, built to your verified project conditions and the approved design documentation.

Base Shoe Installation

Install the base shoe according to the finalized design and supplied drawings.

Second Site Scan

Perform a second field measure to verify base shoe installation accuracy before glass production.

Glass Production

Manufacture and deliver glass and any specified hardware, ensuring fit to verified site conditions.
